Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
At 5:00 p.m. on August 14, 2021, an employee working as a Deputy was policies and procedures in place. hospitalized for COVID-19. The employee worked as a Deputy but was acting as a runner in a courthouse for a security unit which escorts detainees from the jail to the court when he became ill. The employee began experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms on his last work day and tested positive for COVID-19. The date, time and other details leading up to exposure are not indicated in the narrative.
