Event description

Employee falls from telephone pole and incurs multiple injur

Investigation abstract

At approximately 12:00 p.m. on February 13, 2022, an employee and a coworker were coat a customer's residence to fix their phone service. Employee #1 does not remember putting on his climbing gear, climbing, or anything after that but only remembers grabbing the climbing gear from his truck and falling, trying to reach out to stop falling, and lost consciousness. The coworkers did not see the employee until after the accident. The employee sustained multi-system traumatic injuries, including chest pain, closed non-displaced left acetabulum fracture, T2, 3, and 6 compression fractures L5 TP (pelvic) fracture. The employee was hospitalized to treat these injuries.
