Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working at a vineyard harvesting grapes as a member of a crew of 20, 2021. eight employees including the supervisor. The employee began to have flu-like symptoms but continued going to work. The employee's last day at work had been on the evening of September 16, 2021. Approximately two weeks prior to that date, a housemate of the employee had gotten ill from COVID-19 and was hospitalized. The employee carpooled to work with a coworker from his crew. During the same time period between September 15, 2021, and September 23, 2021, three employees from a different crew tested positive for COVID-19. On September 23, 2021, the employee was hospitalized and he died in the hospital on October
