EMPLOYEE IS KILLED WHEN STRUCK BY MACHINE
Investigation abstract
At 9:00 p.m. on September 22, 2021, an employee was shoveling pistachios into an elevator machine. A coworker was operating the almond bankout machine and was u naware that the employee was on the blind side of the machine. The coworker move d the equipment forward to an embankment and struck the employee, pulling him un der the machine and killing him. The employee died upon being crushed by the rig ht side wheel.
