Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
An employee worked as a licensed vocational nurse in the non-COVID-19 patient section of the urgent care section of the medical center where she took patients vitals and prepared paperwork for employees being admitted. The employee's last day of work was September 24, 2021. On September 28, 2021, the employee reported to management that she had begun to show the onset of symptoms of COVID-19. That same day the employee tested positive for COVID-19. At 9:00 a.m. on September 30, 2021, the employee was hospitalized with shortness of breath due to COVID-19 symptoms. On October 2, 2021, the employee was released from the hospital.
