Investigation abstract

On August 23, 2021, an employee who worked as a Registered Nurse for a community hospital was hospitalized with COVID-19. The employee had been performing her job duties as a nurse prior to contracting the virus. She went to the hospital due experiencing shortness of breath and the fact that she was pregnant. The employee was hospitalized for hypoxia and while in the hospital she tested positive for COVID-19. The date, time and other details leading up to exposure are not indicated in the narrative.
