Employee amputates finger when caught in nip point

At 10:30 a.m. on November 13, 2021, an employee was resetting the belt on a feeder. The employee's finger was caught in an ingoing nip point of an unguarded drive chain and sprocket, resulting in the amputation of his pinky finger. The employee was treated without hospitalization.
