Employee injures finger and thumb in fall while holding meta
Investigation abstract
At 7:25 a.m. on November 3, 2021, an employee was working as a machine operator worksite on April 13, 2022, to perform an inspection. No accident-related violations were to be issued. for a firm that manufactured structural metal. The worksite was a fabrication shop for metal parts. The employee was carrying some steel parts that had been fabricated. When he turned to put them on a table, he lost his balance and fell to the ground. The steel parts landed on top of his left hand, injuring his finger and thumb. He suffered the partial amputation of his left thumb in addition to the injury to his finger. He was hospitalized. DOSH was notified of the accident by a representative of the employer at 3:00 p.m. that same day. This notification complied with the reporting requirements. DOSH arrived at the
