Employee injures finger when caught in machine
Investigation abstract
At 6:28 p.m. on January 5, 2022, an employee, a senior machine operator, was working on a blister machine (Manufacturer: Bosch, Model: TLT 1400, Serial: 800956MS8005W) in the TLT room. The machine was packaging chewable kids product (Product: JFE-YUMJD-03). The employee was checking if the product is packaging correctly into the blisters of the package. While doing so, she turned the other way and her glove got caught in the insertion wheel of the blister machine. The employee sustained tissue damage on the top of the left hand index finger and a broken fingernail and was treated without requiring hospitalization.
