Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
Three employees were working for a freight transportation company when two coworkers were transported by Employee #1 to another facility to pick up a truck on October 23, 2021. One coworker tested positive for COVID-19 on October 25, 2021 so Employee #1 took a rapid test that day which returned negative. Employee #1 then scheduled a another test with his primary doctor that was taken on October 27, 2021, which returned positive. Employee #1 was working remotely when his COVID-19 symptoms began to worsen. At 8:00 a.m. on November 20, 2021, Employee #1 went to the hospital for treatment and was admitted. Employee #1 was released on November 24, 2021 and returned to work on November 29, 2021.
