Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
An employee was working for a temporary healthcare staffing agency at a cancer center when he was infected with COVID-19. The cancer center did not have COVID-19 units but also did not have negative pressure rooms. The facility offered only outpatient services. On October 24, 2021, the employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment of COVID-19 symptoms and was hospitalized over 24 hours.
