At 10:52 a.m. on January 15, 2024, Employee #1 left the restroom and an assailant grabbed Employee #1. They had an exchange of words, while customers and an off-duty officer tried to intervene. Employee #1 suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, was hospitalized, and later died from her injuries.
