Employee is shot and killed at convivence store
Investigation abstract
At 11:44 p.m. on May 29, 2024, Employee #1, a cashier at a gas station, was working at the register when a group of males entered to purchase gas and cigarettes. After the employee mistakenly rang up the gas for the wrong pump, the group became irate, accusing the employee of stealing their money. An argument escalated between the employee and two of the males, during which one of them drew a gun and accidentally discharged it. The gunfire caused the rest of the group to pull out their firearms and open fire on the employee. The employee sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
