Investigation abstract

At 12:30 p.m. on September 17, 2024, an employee was flagging traffic while standing on the side of the road. A flatbed truck carrying an SUV headed toward a flagger collided with a stopped truck, causing the flatbed to swerve and strike the employee. The employee sustained multiple impact injuries throughout the body and was killed.
