Employee dies after found unresponsive from drug overdose

Investigation abstract

At 5:00 a.m. on October 29, 2024, an employee working for a gated community had been assigned to provide security. The employee was not responding to calls while on patrol so a coworker was sent to check on him. The coworker found the employee parked behind the library unresponsive in the back seat of the security vehicle. The employee had died from a drug overdose.
