Employee dies from drug overdose after collapsing on site

Investigation abstract

At 11:30 a.m. on February 17, 2025, Employee #1 was working as a construction laborer and was walking to his truck. Employee #1 reported shortness of breath, started foaming at the mouth and collapsed. The employee died from a methamphetamine overdose. This is not covered by OSHA.
