EMPLOYEE #1 PLACED HIS HAND UNDER A GUARD IN AN EFFORT TO REACH SOME MATERIAL TH AT WAS CURLING UP AFTER BEING CUT. HIS LEFT INDEX FINGER CAME IN CONTACT WITH TH E CUTTING BLADE. HIS FINGERTIP WAS AMPUTATED.
