Employee killed when struck by falling truss
Investigation abstract
Employee #1 was delivering propane gas cylinders to a five level parking garage that was under construction. He parked his truck at an opening below a place whe re concrete forms were being stripped from the ceiling of the fourth level of th e garage. A 65 3/4 inch end section of a wooden truss fell from the ceiling of t he fourth level. It struck Employee #1 on the left side of his head, killing him .
