EMPLOYEE DIED OF HEART ATTACK

Investigation abstract

EMPLOYEE #1 WAS RETURNING FROM A TRIP TO BLUEFIELD, WEST VIRGINIA ON INTERSTATE ROUTE 77 (IN BLAND COUNTY) WHEN HE COMPLAINED TO HIS WIFE THAT HE WAS FEELING SI CK. HE SLUMPED OVER IN HIS SEAT, SO SHE OBTAINED SOME HELP AND TOOK HIM TO THE W YTHE COUNTY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, WHERE HE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD. ONE OF EMPLOYEE #1 'S SUPERVISORS STATED THAT EMPLOYEE #1 HAD HAD A CONFRONTATION WITH A PRISONERS, AND HE THOUGHT THAT JOB STRESS WAS A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR TO THE HEART ATTACK.
