Employee killed when struck by automobile
Investigation abstract
Employee #1, a construction worker, was working in a 12 ft by 12 ft by 16 in. de ep hole in a closed section of the right lane of pavement. The traffic was using the open left lane. The driver of a passing automobile decided to change lanes and entered the closed right lane to avoid missing his exit. The automobile ran into the construction area, hitting and killing Employee #1.
