EMPLOYEE KILLED WHEN HE FELL 31 FEET FROM CRANE

Investigation abstract

Employee #1 and two other employees were installing new crane rails on a Clevela nd 5-ton charging crane. All three employees were working at a height of 31 feet without fall protection. A plate became dislodged and struck Employee #1, causi ng him to fall 31 feet and die.
