Employee's thumb lacerated by press
Investigation abstract
Employee #1 was freeing a stuck part from an eyelet press, model WT, manufacture d by USM Corporation, company #010221, serial #2070, when the bolts under the pr ess that held the air cylinders came loose. The air pressure on the rod holding the dog (which stops the press stroke at 360 degrees) was released and the press descended. Employee #1's thumb was lacerated.
