An employee was cutting lumber to size using a swing saw in the pallet shed. The saw blade caught his right glove as it passed and pulled his right arm underneath, amputating his right hand at or above the wrist. He required surgery to amputate his right arm 3 inches below the elbow and was hospitalized.
