An employee stepped over a pallet (used to store warehouse equipment) on the warehouse floor to retrieve some carpet squares. He picked up the carpet squares and stepped backwards to go back over the pallet. After doing so, he lost his balance and caught his toe on the pallet, which caused him to trip and fall. He landed on his knee and face, suffering an unspecified knee injury and a concussion. He was hospitalized.
