An employee was using an alligator shear and reached down to pick up another piece of material while using his right hand to hold himself upright. The shear came down on his right hand amputating three fingers (middle finger, fourth finger, and pinkie finger). Employee was transported to the hospital in an attempt to re-attach his fingers.
