An employee was working on a skid steer. He had the loader raised. No loader locks, steel bars, or chains were being used to secure the loader in the raised position. The loader came down, pinning him between the boom and the skid steer. He fell to the ground. He was hospitalized for treatment of two cracked vertebrae and broken ribs.
