Two maintenance employees were working to replace carriage arms on a stacker machine. After they dislodged the pins that held the two carriage arms in place, the arms did not swing free. An employee standing on a support beam struck the right-side carriage arm with a hammer to free it. The arms struck an employee, fracturing the employee's left-foot metatarsal bone.
