Final narrative
An employee was pressure-washing a flat roof with an existing membrane for repairs. The roof had a parapet wall of 25 to 28 inches all around the perimeter. The employee hit the wall and fell over onto the grass below, suffering a broken ankle and requiring surgery. The building was a 2-story condominium.
