Final narrative

An employee was attempting to adjust the billet loading sensors when the billet loader actuated forward approximately 5 feet, catching the employee between the billet loader and the extrusion press. The loader struck the employee in his lower left leg, resulting in an amputation to his left leg below the knee area.
