An employee was emptying the skid bin underneath a rotary lock at the bag house, which allows bags to empty polymer wax, when the unit became plugged. As the employee attempted to clear the plugged chute, his right index, middle, and ring fingers were caught and amputated by the rotary valve (rotating drum with fingers).
