An employee was removing a steel pot that was in the upright position. The steel pot was supported by its own weight on the ground. In trying to do so, the steel pot shifted and leaned to one side. The steel pot landed on a piece of cement wall that was adjacent to the steel pot. The employee's finger was caught between the steel pot and the cement wall. The employee's right middle finger was amputated at the last knuckle.
