An employee was using a manual lathe to polish a small pin used in mold manufacturing. He was polishing the rotating pin using a piece of sandpaper. The glove on his middle right finger got caught by the rotating part pulling his hand in resulting in amputation of the right middle finger and a broken ring finger.
