An employee was working from a servicing rig platform while tripping out pipe. The pipe became unstable and swung over the edge of the servicing platform while the employee was holding onto it. The pipe pulled the employee from the platform, and he fell approximately 15 feet to the ground. He suffered lacerations and fractures to the eye socket, jaw, nasal bones, and one of his legs. The platform was unguarded at the time.
