An employee was loading frozen chubs (tubes of meat) into the hydrauflaker. As he was trying to manipulate the chub around, his left ring finger was caught between the chub and ram (pusher) as it was returning to the home position. The left ring finger was pinched and the muscle on the finger was amputated.
