An employee was standing on the engine compartment of a manlift lining up the holes on the boom to apply the pin. As another worker hit the pin, it vibrated and caused the employee to lose his balance. He fell 7' 3" to the ground, fracturing his right wrist, dislocating his left collarbone, and suffering two contusions to the back and front of his head. He was hospitalized.
