An employee was working from a catwalk to perform maintenance on the engine of equipment used to transport crude oils and liquids. While descending the ladder from the catwalk, the employee slipped and fell to the ground, resulting in rib fractures, abrasions to the arm and shoulder, and a collapsed left lung.
