An employee was standing in front of a warehouse office door when the employee was struck by a 10,790-pound forklift and pinned against a protective railing barrier. The employee suffered bruising and soreness of the right side of the body, both legs, and both knees, as well as trapped blood in the right leg muscle. The employee was later hospitalized with an infection and blood clotting.
