An employee was rolling a 15-inch by 12-foot pipe off a trailer. When the pipe started to roll, a band clamp on it bent. The pipe caught the employee's glove and pulled the employee off the trailer. The employee's wrist and hand were crushed under the pipe; the employee's thumb was amputated and other fingers were crushed, with skin torn off exposing bone.
