An employee was standing on top of an auger cleaning the beater bars in the silage box. Two coworkers were outside of the box replacing a gearbox. After replacement, they tested the gearbox, which caused the auger to turn on and pull the injured employee's left leg into the auger. The employee suffered left leg lacerations.
