An employee was picking up a roll of paper from the corrugator with a clamp truck to take it to the roll room. The roll was elevated approximately 3 feet. The employee noticed that the outer wrap around the roll was loose. She got off the clamp truck to tape the loose paper while the roll was still elevated. She taped one edge of the roll and then walked in front of the roll to tape the other edge. As she was bent down in a crouching position to grab the loose paper, the roll came out of the clamp and fell on top of and then rolled over her. The employee was hospitalized for fractures to the left ankle, pelvis, tibia, rib cage and bruising.
