Pedestrian struck by forward-moving vehicle in work zone · Fractures
Final narrative
An employee was setting up a lane closure. A Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) was stationed in the roadway with the crash cushion in the downward position. The arrow board was mounted on the TMA in the upward position with the arrow activated instructing the traffic to move over. The pilot vehicle with a trailer attached was approximately 102 feet in front of the TMA. The employee was between the pilot vehicle and the TMA, standing on the berm of the road with one foot on the berm and one foot on the fog line.
