An employee was on a metal, fixed ladder. He was opening the roof hatch to go onto the roof when he fell about 12-14 feet to the floor, hitting a sink faucet and the ladder on the way down. The employee was hospitalized with multiple rib fractures on the left side, a fractured scapula, and a bruised lung.
