An employee was cleaning a paving machine's hopper with a shovel. The employee noticed that the "auto" button was activated and tried to shut it off. The machine's front apron came down and caught the employee's right foot against the front bumper. He suffered a broken right foot, a broken left collarbone, and a burned right hand.
