Final narrative
Employees were using a skid-steer loader to relocate a concrete barrier wall on a turnpike as part of a lane-closure setup. While aligning the loader s forks with the barrier s lift point, the barrier rolled forward off the forks. An employee who was in front of the barrier assisting with the alignment, stepped back and tripped. The barrier fell onto his legs, resulting in multiple fractures.
