An employee was adjusting the guardrail of an elevated lift platform. The employee was pushing the guardrail up while another employee, who was standing on the lift, was pushing down on the guardrail. The injured employee got his right middle finger caught in a pinch point on the guardrail and sustained a fingertip amputation.
