A box truck drove into a work zone and struck a truck-mounted attenuator, which in turn struck an employee. The employee suffered multiple abrasions to the face, a laceration to the right eyelid, eye contusions, a laceration to the upper lip, upper and lower incisor avulsions, abdominal pain, road rash on the left elbow and left thigh, rib fractures, and a pelvic crest fracture.
