An employee on the bed of a hay delivery truck was removing twine from a bale of hay when he slipped and fell approximately 4 feet from the truck to the ground. The employee landed on their right foot, then rolled the right foot/ankle and caught himself with his right hand. The employee was hospitalized with a broken tibia and fibula which required surgery, and also sustained a dislocated right pinky finger.
