Final narrative
An employee working in the sausage stuffing process area went to the storage area to retrieve casing for the sausage. The employee retrieved about 25 lbs. of casing using a stainless steel rolling cart. While pulling the cart back to her work area she lost footing and fell with the cart. The employee held onto the cart's handle and her fingers got caught between the cart and the concrete floor, amputating the left middle and ring fingertips.
