An employee was operating a crane at a steel fabrication shop. The employee had just laid a section of steel, carried in the crane's hooks, on the ground. The employee unhooked the hooks and began to raise them. One of them hooked the section of steel and overturned it onto the employee's right foot. The employee suffered fractures to the foot and toes.
