Final narrative
An employee was disassembling a control valve assembly. During control valve disassembly a metal cylinder was unexpectedly discharged under high pressure and struck the employee in the face. The employee sustained extensive damage to facial features including an eye injury and fractured jawbones. The employee was hospitalized.
